Allen Wedding

Yesterday Michael and I went to our first wedding as a married couple. It was his Uncle Joseph's and Aunt Jenny's wedding. It was a nice, small outside wedding. The colors were gorgeous.! I'm going to put up a few of my favorite pictures from the wedding.!

So, this week our dare is to not be envious of the other. No matter what it might be, but to stay positive and accept each other for their strengths and encourage their strengths.

I have been getting these magazines from church. I was reading an article in it Sunday after church. The article was talking about the true enemy in the marriage. Which, is the devil. So often spouses blame the other and make them their enemy. Last night I put some of the things it said to use. One main thing it talks about is How so many times you want to talk about certain things, instead of praying about them. That we shouldn't "talk" about these things, we should pray about it. Let God take care of the situation. It's good to be reminded, that even while the enemy is out there, and his desire is to destroy my marriage, God is still in control. And His desire is for my marriage to never fail, just like His love.

One Month

Today marks one month for Michael and I! That's crazy and absolutely amazing! We have had such a fun journey so far and neither of us can wait for what else God has in store for us!
This weeks dare is to be patient with each other. This is something that I know I personally will struggle with. I can't wait to see how God uses this weeks dare though to get us to grow closer to first Him, then to each other.
